Phew...Clevelands late touchdown got us a middle, and puts me in an almost no lose situation.

Where we sit. Should Dallas win I lose 5.51, Should Philadelphia win by 8 or more points I win 1.54, and should Philadelphia win by 7 points or less, I win 239.06.

I am not sure if I will do anything further, since my potential loss is directly attributable to 2 decisions this week. First, to experiment with teasers (loss 20.00), and a late change of horse on Saturday from Spain to Turkey in lead-ins 20 thru 23. This caused at least a portion of yesterday's $68 in hedges. Lets say I would have still hedged at least 35-40, so it cost 28.00.

Poker -- The past several weeks

My poker play has been mostly limited to micro levels at Stars. I have been playing within a $25 range, which I cannot seem to clear.

My 10+1 play at Pacific was limited last week. 2 SNG's. I reached my first 100 SNG's the previous week with very good statistics. My last 10 SNG's have been quite disturbing as to results. In all 10 I reached the bubble, yet my results were 1 2nd, 1 3rd and 8 4ths. I have lost from several suspect plays by my opponents which won, yet more disturbing is that I did not cash in at least 3 instances from rather stupid plays on my part. Sitting aside for the moment, will go back to the arena soon, because I cannot fault 10 of 10 reaching the bubble, need to tighten up my bubble play.

Sports -- Summary of where we are now

Well, one late change yesterday from Spain to Turkey in Lead-ins #20 thru 23 was a disaster. My original lean was correct, yet when Exeter went down, I chose Turkey a decent lean to take advantage of difference between Spain -300 and Turkey (pk) +144.

Luckily I still have 124 to work with. I am set up with some great possibilities for middles, yet still some work to do to ensure profit.

Dominant: Jacksonville, Denver, Pittsburgh & Philadelphia. Should they ALL win, the pay out will be 244.57.

Should the dominant 4 ALL win and Jacksonville win by 14pts or less, the payout increases to 356.63.

Should the dominant 4 ALL win and Jacksonville win by more than 14 pts and Denver win by less than 10 pts. The payout will be 295.93.

Should the dominant 4 ALL win and Jacksonville win by 14 pts or less and Denver win by less than 10 pts. The payout will be 407.99.

Should the dominant 4 ALL win and Jacksonville win by 14 pts or less and Denver win by less than 10 pts and Pittsburgh in by 14 pts or less and Philadelphia win by 7 pts or less the BONANZA the whole enchilada. The payout will be 645.51.

Lots of potential, yet I am still on the banana peel, losses by 2 or more of the donimant 4 could lead to disaster, thus the reason the Spain/Turkey hurts so much.

I am working on a plan this morning to reduce any possible of loss for this weekend, while hoping the fates will look favorably.

In the NBA the LA Clippers brought in the early Level 1 of the leadin's #7 & #8. One unfortunate thing on the Total in the Detroit/Phoenix game is that the line dropped 3.5 points so after placing the parlays mid-day. I bot 3 points earlier today, and the current line is lower than my adjusted line. Oh well. I will take a look at halftime to see if there is any possibility to hedge. The only likely hedge is if the 1st half total is over 105-110 points. Then I would be looking for both a middle as well as hedge.

I may not post that hedge since halftime will be very late.

A couple of things you might have noticed. I am laying hedges to the dominant through these lead-ins. The KEY game today is the Ottawa/Boston NHL game. Should Ottawa win I will have The TAG partially hedged with Dallas +7.5 for 97.40 return.

Should Ottawa win by one goal, I will have caught a middle on my hedge Boston +1.5 goals and will surely be looking to hedge the Vancouver game with Colorado +1.5 goals.

I will go over in today's summary what other hedges may have been achieved by these plays.

Sports -- Wednesday Summary

Well, not bad, surely not wonderful.

The 2 NBA Lead-ins split 1-1. Dallas going down, San Antonio and Portland winning. I DID NOT hedge on the Knicks, because when I looked at the line 9:00ish to hedge with the Knicks and buy a few points, the line had moved from the Knicks +1.5 to Knicks -2. So I decided to wait until half-time to see if I could get a better hedge, With the Knicks with a good lead taking the Knicks -2 was not attractive. I figured to save a couple of bucks and resign myself to a loss. Wake up this morning, checked the score and surprise of surprises Portland came back to win comfortably.

The 2 NHL lead-ins are through level one and now depend on todays Ottawa game to put a nice hedge on Mondays TAG in place.

NHL Round Robin went 2-1. Took a loss of 2.90. That loss was totally attributable to my taking a 3-team parlay as well as the 3 2-teamers.

Lastly, the 2 holdover Teasers went down when the WVa/Cincinati went under 40.5, WVa 38- Cincinnati 0. The hedge is still open.

Summary: cash 244.1, open 35, loss 20.10

Now to the beauty of using Lead-in bets to establish the dominant parlay.

So at present I have parlays open with ONLY the dominant NFL games remaining, which should my leans prove correct will return 224.57. At a cost of 25.00. If I took 25 and just established the 4 team parlay the potential return would be 102.45. Thus by using lead-in parlays, I have done with 25 what would have cost 60+ straight up.

Sports--The Plan For Monday (11/14) TAG

For those who might not know, the TAG is the last game in the parlay string. It is a game I hope my lean is correct, yet by hedging and criss crosses it is a place to insure either a minimum loss, or ensure maximum profit.

The Plan for this week includes a budget of $300. The goal is to build a foundation throughout the week to invest the least amount possible to achieve a positive result.

First, I will be looking to build a foundation, which is my 4 team Time zoned NFL parlay:

I am looking to achieve, through lead-in parlays (lead-ins are 1,2 or 3 games which are added to the 4 teams listed above to reduce initial risk/cost) to put the foundation in place, with a reward of $300.00

Once the foundation, the next step is to begin hedging the TAG (Philadelphia -140). This means substituting Philadelphia -130 with Dallas (+7.5).
